The free tier supports one device, no history beyond the most recent reading, and no premium alerts/export/analytics. We may adjust free-tier limits with reasonable notice.

StellarGauge is an informational tool. Tank-level, temperature, signal and battery readings can drift due to sensor calibration, low battery, BLE interference, firmware issues, network outages or wireless reflections. Always verify the physical state of a tank, system or property before placing an order, scheduling a refill, or making a safety decision. You agree not to use StellarGauge as the sole basis for any safety-critical action.

The Service, the StellarGauge name and logo, all firmware, source code, designs and documentation are owned by Perlicom Systems Ltd. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service while these Terms are in effect. All readings and notes you create are yours; you grant us a limited licence to host them so we can run the Service for you.

We aim for high uptime but the Service is provided "as available" — Bluetooth, mobile networks, your phone's OS scheduler, and our cloud upstreams can all fail in ways we cannot prevent. Scheduled maintenance is announced in-app where possible. We may add, change or remove features at any time; we will not remove a feature you actively paid for in the current billing period without offering a pro-rata refund.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, oil, fuel, data, goodwill or business. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Irish or EU consumer law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be flagged in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland, save that EU consumers retain the right to bring an action in the courts of their country of residence and to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
